The Danny Tuttle Memorial Annual Scholarship was created to honor the memory of Danny Tuttle and to continue his legacy of kindness and generosity.

The scholarship will be awarded, per semester, to an eligible Lake Land College student seeking a degree or certificate in the John Deere Ag Tech program or Ag Power program.

Eligibility criteria and application instructions can be found below.

Eligibility

  • Recipient(s) must be a student currently enrolled in classes at Lake Land College.
  • Recipient(s) must be seeking a degree or certificate in the John Deere Ag Tech program or the Ag Power program at Lake Land College.
  • Recipient(s) must reside in the following Illinois counties: Coles, Moultrie, Cumberland, Clark, Crawford, Richland, Jasper, Lawrence OR the following Indiana counties: Vigo, Sullivan, Pike, Knox, or Gibson.
  • Recipient(s) must be employed or sponsored by an Alliance Tractor location (Mattoon, Newton, Casey, or Vincennes).

Award Amount: $500 per semester

How to Apply 

Prospective Students

  1. Create your Laker profile at lakelandcollege.edu/enroll.
  2. Log into your new Laker profile and submit your Intent to Enroll form.
  3. Allow at least one week for your welcome packet to arrive in the mail. This will contain your student ID# and instructions to log into the Laker Hub.
  4. Using your new student ID, log into the Laker Hub and click on the Foundation Scholarship button to access the application.

Current Students

  1. Log into the Laker Hub.
  2. Click on the Foundation Scholarship button to access the application.

NOTE: The application is available from November 1 - February 1, and again August 1-31.

*The Danny Tuttle Memorial Annual Scholarship is funded individually by Alliance Tractor, LLC and facilitated by the Lake Land College Foundation. Selection of the scholarship recipient(s) shall be made by the Lake Land Foundation Scholarship Committee, hereby referred to as "Committee." The Committee does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, handicap or national/ethnic origin. Employees of Alliance Tractor, LLC and their immediate family members are not eligible to receive the Danny Tuttle Memorial Annual Scholarship.
